From our kitchen to yours, we love sharing our favorite Sena Sea recipes. Try this classic marinade on fresh Black Cod.
1 SenaSea Black Cod fillet (or 4 to 6 portions), thawed
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 inch slice of fresh ginger root (or 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger), grated
1 garlic clove, minced
Place Black Cod in a glass baking dish, flesh side up. Pour soy sauce over fish. Grate fresh ginger root on top, and add minced garlic. Turn Black Cod (flesh down) into the sauce and marinate for 20-30 min.
Heat oven to 485°F. Turn Black Cod again so it is flesh side up. Bake for about 20-25 minutes for a fillet, 15-20 for portions. Cook just until fish is opaque throughout and flesh is separating. Broil on high for 2 more minutes for a nice crispy, brown top.
