Norway Doesn't Disappoint!

Norway Doesn't Disappoint!

Posted by Sena Wheeler on

We are enjoying our Norway trip so much!

We started in Hardangerfjord, known as the queen of the Norwegian Fjords. 111 miles of scenic views that felt reminiscent of Alaska, except much bigger than any fjord I've seen and dotted with the cutest little Norwegian villages.

The picturesque town of Eidfjord sits at the very end of the fjord, but the real crown jewel is the spectacular Voringfossen Falls!

Norway is picture-perfect on a grand scale, but also pure perfection down to every last detail.

We are looking forward to meeting lots of relatives this week. I will have more updates soon...
Back in Alaska, everything is humming along and the fishing is going well.

We are nicely stocked up on most species, including Prince William Sound Sockeye salmon, just in.

Now that we are getting an abundance of most species, we will start making our specialty products like smoked salmon, lox, and miso blackcod. You can expect to see them in about a month.
