Wild Caught Halibut

Halibut with Sauteed Leeks and Mushrooms

Posted by Sena Wheeler on

This recipe looks and tastes gourmet, but comes together quick an easy enough for a weeknight dinner. The mushrooms and leeks bring a complex flavor that is wonderfully balanced with the delicate Halibut without overpowering it.

Ingredients

2 Sena Sea Halibut portions, thawed
1 large leak, sliced in rings
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbl butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Skillet:

1) Preheat oven to 350

2) Sautee leeks and mushrooms in butter, salt to taste. Continue cooking on medium heat until soft.

3) Rinse Halibut, pat dry, salt and pepper to taste.

4) Top Halibut with sauteed veggies.

5) Cook in oven for 15 - 20 min until center of Halibut just turns from translucent to opaque. If cooking from frozen, increase time.

Enjoy,
