Fish Friday- Crab Cakes

 Ode to Crab Cakes

In coastal kitchens by the sea, Where salty air meets melody, A treasure lies, a golden dream, In crab cakes, where the flavors teem.

From ocean depths, the crabs arise, Their tender meat, a gourmet prize, Mixed with spices, herbs so bright, Bound with love, a pure delight.

Pan-fried crisp, with edges browned, A culinary gem, so renowned, Each bite a burst of ocean's kiss, In every morsel, taste of bliss.

Lemon zest and breadcrumbs fine, Mustard seeds and herbs combine, To form a patty, small but grand, A taste of heaven, close at hand.
