Our Pacific Oysters are harvested by Safety Cove Shellfish Farm in the deep, cold, remote waters of Simpson Bay, AK, in the Prince William Sound. These oysters are suspended at 20-40 feet depth to ensure a cold, clean, and pure environment that yields the highest quality meat.
These cold, remote waters and attributes of Simpson Bay produce an oyster of the highest quality that can only be from the wild waters of Alaska.

Safety Cove Shellfish Farm
Our Pacific Oysters are harvested in the deep, cold remote waters of Simpson Bay located 8 miles outside of Cordova, AK in the Prince William Sound. These oysters are suspended at a depth of 20-40 feet to ensure a cold, clean and pure environment that yields the highest quality meat. The final "Beach Hardening" process involves a 2-week stage spent in the tidal zone of the rocky shore. This technique uses the tidal movement and natural power of the waves to polish and clean the oysters making them beautiful and ready to serve.

We ship directly to your door in insulated boxes. All orders are shipped on Mondays. Orders placed by noon (PST) on Monday will be shipped the same day, orders placed later will be shipped the following Monday. We will send an email with the tracking number on the day it ships so you know when to expect it.
We use sustainable green cell foam to insulate our frozen boxes instead of styrofoam. A combination of pellet dry ice and booster packs (pcm gel packs that hold below freezing) are used to keep fish frozen during transit.
Smoked salmon jars are shipped separately from frozen products because the glass could break due to the very low freezing temperature of dry ice.
